Today is my birthday. The big 4-0.
I have never been a “birthday kinda girl”. I think it’s because I have never really been comfortable with being the center of attention. Well, now that I’m forty, nothing has changed. I still don’t like being the center of attention and I definitely don’t like the idea of being “middle aged”.
But, now that I’m a mature woman (and I use that term loosely), as I still find flatulence HYSTERICAL! I think it’s time to grow up. By this I mean, look at the areas in my life that add stress and rob me of otherwise happiness.
Here are a few things that send me right over the edge.
- Clutter
- Disorganization
- Errands
- To Do lists
Let me clarify.
- Clutter…There is a lot of STUFF in my house. Now, I’m not talking Hoarders or anything, but just too much stuff.
- Disorganization…I can’t find anything because there’s too much stuff
- Errands…I do WAY too much running around, because I’m disorganized, because of too much stuff.
- To Do lists…I start them and never seem to get anything checked off. This is usually because I write them in a notebook and then I put the notebook somewhere and when I can’t find it, I start a new list in a new notebook, and the cycle continues. Are you seeing a pattern here?
This is the reason for The Clutter Cafe. It’s a place where I can share my journey of cleaning out the clutter and organzing my life…one junk drawer at a time. It’s also where I can release my creativity and follow my passion for cooking, photography and design.
I’ll need all the help I can get, so thanks for coming along on my journey.
Fabulous Li! Love it! Can’t wait to read recipes and some funny life BS!
Thanks Babe. They’re coming. Keep coming back
