I cannot believe it’s already October.
Wow. Just wow.
I’m not a big fan of Halloween, but I am a fan of Autumn in New England. The farms, hayrides, cider donuts and the gorgeous foliage we have here. It is magical.
Even though I personally don’t dress up for Halloween, I love the festivities. Seeing the kids so excited about their costumes for Trick or Treat and school parties always makes me smile. All those little ones coming to the door are so stinking cute, I can hardly stand it!
But before the Trick or Treaters comes the candy shopping. I’m a fan of the big candy bar. It puts my house on the map. Which I can comfortably say means no eggs or toilet paper.
I’m a huge fan of Target for holiday candy selection. Especially since Target has limited edition M&M’s. I have to grab a couple of bags, even if the flavors seem a little “meh”.
This one was far from “meh”. I mean, you can’t go wrong with Cookies and Cream. Or in this case Cookies and “Scream“. They have white chocolate centers coated in dark chocolate with black candy coating and white speckles. They are very chocolatey and yummy.
Since M&M cookies are my favorite cookie, if you can have a favorite. That’s like picking your favorite child. But if I could pick one, that would be it. I needed to make a cookie with these. I had to do it soon too, or the bag wasn’t going to make it.
These giant, chewy, black and white speckled cookies are super easy and oh so good. These will be a perfect addition to the class party. Your little ghosts and goblins will certainly gobble them up.
