Waaaaaaaay back in 2014 I created this beauty challenge.
I thought it was high time to do another. But more of a health and beauty challenge. Why? Because I feel like shit and I don’t want to. I have gotten severely overweight, my health has definitely declined, I’m tired all the time, I crave unhealthy food, I don’t drink enough water and I get very little exercise. It shows in my skin and my hair and my lady lumps that aren’t so lovely anymore. I want to look and the mirror and love what we see. I’m not talking plastic surgery here guys. I’m talking beauty is all about radiating good health. Strong is sexy. Confidence is hot.

30 DayBest You Challenge
I’m tackling this challenge head on with another Whole30. I felt great the last time I did it. Why I ever started eating crap again is beyond me. But alas, lesson learned. I’ve taken my weight and measurements and logged them. I’ll redo them after thirty days are up, no sooner. For this challenge, on Sunday morning on the Facebook page I’ll post a few mind/body things to incorporate into your week. During the week I’ll share some Whole30 recipes and tips, beauty tips and other general wellness goodies. You know, stuff like that.
So, without further adieu
Here are this week’s challenges
- Prepare for the following day (i.e. clothes, lunches, calendar)
- Dry brush daily for 3-5 minutes before showering
- Drink at least 8 glasses of water each day
- Hit the gym or walk briskly for 30-45 minutes at least 3x
- Stick to the Whole30 meal plan!
*Whole30 is my meal plan of choice for this challenge. But make a choice that’s right for you. Weight Watchers, paleo, Atkins, whatever you want. Just find a program and make a a promise to stick with it for 30 days.
